Lately my sleeping pattern has been all over the place.
While I was originally worried about this, I have realized my schedule has been continuously changing and dealing with Fibro and all the other issues I have, I know this is not a good idea but it was something that was inevitable.
So because my work is ALWAYS missing people I was pretty much covering 2-3 shifts at a time (including my own).
I was still going to all my appointments (some weeks over 4 clinics).
I was still going to school.
And basically I was burnt out.
There were some nights I suffered from several days of insomnia.
Other days I was completely fine.
Some days I was going to bed at like 1-2am and waking up at 6 am or even waking up at noon.
Last week I got to the rink early. I was okay but purely exhausted. I ended up passing out and falling asleep. I was in the car sleeping for over two hours before I woke up and had no idea where I was. After ten minutes I was able to shake it off but still, it was too much on my body.
So now that my schedule is almost set. I am excited to get going and seeing it go back to normal.
Endo is coming. So that does mean there will probably be a few more days of insomnia.
Does anyone else get weird sleep patterns?
Yes! I’m an Endo girl with multiple health issues, and I’ve struggled with insomnia and strange sleep patterns as well. I’ve recently started doing a sleep meditation each night as the last thing before I go to sleep, and it’s early days, but I think it is helping a bit. Hope you can get your sleep straightened out soon xx

I’m sorry you are going through this. The sleep meditation sounds like a good idea. I will try it and let you know how it goes 🙂

I have found meditating before sleep to be a good habit to get into. I’ve been using Insight Timer if you’re looking for an app, because it has such a selection of free meditations, and so you can pick and choose which voices and formats you like the sound of. Hope it helps xx
